BUSINESS APPLICATIONS ANALYST

The Business Applications Analyst develops, implements, oversees and maintains all IT-related needs through data analysis to improve business efficiency and security for all Garman entities. Responsibilities include:

  • Keep up with current IT developments and trends for continuous improvement.
  • Actively manage IT-related projects, including software, processes, products, and services, leading and delegating to drive projects to completion.
  • Balance workload between internal staff and IT consultants to limit downtime and increase company productivity.
  • Manage, mentor, and train the IT team for continual improvement.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Business, Systems and/or Application Analysis
  • 3+ years’ Project Management Experience and ability to oversee cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence at the management level
  • Certifications in Microsoft and CompTIA, preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry, a plus

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 Annually

BUILDING SERVICES COORDINATOR

The Building Services Coordinator provides high level administrative support to the Garman Building Services Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Process mail/invoices for payments
  • Coordinate with Team Members for set-up, updates and completion of job tasks
  • Maintain Available Homes pricing and reports per guidelines
  • Review and save Personal Choice Lists
  • Prepare and distribute pre-designed reports weekly

The successful candidate will have excellent writing/grammatical skills and be able to communicate well and work closely with a variety of personalities. Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience in an office environment
  • High school degree or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Strong attention to detail while multitasking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to master new software

Salary Range:  $40,000 to $50,000 Annually.  This is a full time position requiring 40 hours/week.

EXCAVATION LABORER

The Excavation Laborer provides each home with a solid foundation, the essential first element of good construction upon which the rest of the workmanship depends.  This position involves assisting in all aspects of the excavating/construction trade including laying off foundations, pouring footers, concrete, and rough framing. It provides an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and motivated individual to potentially advance within the company.  Requirements include:

  • Valid PA Driver’s License
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, accurately, and safely
  • Climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights (including working off ladders), and walk/work in rough terrain as required by the job.

CARPENTERS AND LEAD CARPENTERS

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

The Executive Assistant provides high level administrative support to the President of Building Services & Finance, taking care of the details so that the President can focus on the big picture.  Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the President’s calendar, voicemail, and correspondence effectively and professionally.
  • Support the President in achieving company goals, approaching action items with a results-driven, proactive mindset, and anticipating and initiating new items as appropriate.
  • Develop special projects from concept to completion. This includes research, meeting coordination and innovative thinking, and requires the ability to bring clarity out of ambiguity.
  • Work closely with Team Leaders to capture and track important points and action items from meetings.
  • Manage travel itineraries.

The successful candidate will be proactive and flexible, utilizing excellent writing/grammatical skills to communicate well and work closely with a variety of personalities. Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ executive administrative experience, directly supporting senior management
  • High school degree or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong attention to detail while multitasking
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, with the ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
