LEAD CARPENTER

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for constructing projects to the plan and scope specifications under the direction of the Project Supervisor on schedule and within budget to DK Builder quality standards

  • Position: Full Time
  • Lead Carpenter Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Possess current PA driver license
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
  • Perform end of day additional material lists needed and report shortages to Project Supervisor
  • Ability to lead DK Builder field crews and Trade Partners
  • Hold crews to construction schedule
  • Possess a good knowledge and ability to perform selective demolition, framing, door and window installation, siding and exterior trim installation, and interior trim carpentry skills
  • Possess necessary hand tools to accomplish construction tasks listed above
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
  • Possess dexterity and balance skills to work comfortably at different heights on ladders, scaffolding, pump jacks or mechanical lifts
  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Keep assigned DK Builder vehicles stocked with supplies as needed

FIELD CARPENTER
